March security patch rolled out for Realme X, XT, 5 Pro, 5i and C2

In the last 2 years, Realme has emerged as an OEM that not only keeps launching smartphones of every price range from time to time, but also provides its users with the latest updates. The company launched Realme C3 earlier this year with its new Android 10 based Realme UI operating system. After this smartphone, the company has launched all the smartphones launched this year with Realme UI based on Android 10. Apart from this, the company has also started rolling out the latest updates for budget and mid-range smartphones launched last year. The company has now rolled out the latest security patch for Realme X, XT , 5 Pro and Realme C2 , launched last year .

The company has started rolling out the March security patch rolled out by Google for these five devices. With the new security patch, users will get additional security in the device. Google rolls out a security patch for its Android device every month, so that users don’t have to face problems like phishing and hacking. A security patch based on Android 10 has been rolled out for Realme X, XT and 5 Pro . Whereas, the March security patch based on Android 9 Pie for Realme 5i and Realme C2 has been rolled out.

The security patch for Realme X has been rolled out under the name RMX1901EX_11.C.02 version. Users can check this OTA (over the air) update by going to the Settings option. The company has published a change log for this security patch on its official forum. In this, the latest security feature has been added to the users as well as the screen light effect feature. Several bugs have also been fixed with this new security patch. It has optimized game audio effects. Additionally, the error that appears at boot in the animation display is also fixed.

The security patch version for Realme XT has been rolled out under the name RMX1921EX_11.C.03. At the same time, the security patch version for Realme 5 Pro has been rolled out as RMX1971EX_11.C.02. The security patch version for Realme 5i is named RMX2020EX_11_A.18, while the security patch version for Realme C2 is rolled out as RMX1941EX_11.A.24. Gestures and video call features have been upgraded for both of these budget range smartphones coming with Android 9 Pie.
