The CBI team probing the case of Sushant Singh Rajput’s death reached the actor’s Mumbai-based flat with forensic experts on Saturday afternoon for the scene conversion of the crime. The CBI was also accompanied by Neeraj, a Rajput cook and Siddharth Pithani, who lived with him in the flat. Both of them had found Sushant’s dead body.
An official said that the CBI team, along with forensic experts, would carry out the crime scene conversion at Rajput flat in Bandra, where his body was found hanging on June 14. The Central Investigation Agency team and forensic experts reached the Mont Blanc apartment at two and a half. The officer said they rushed to the flat to connect the episodes of the incident that had caused the actor’s death. CBI officials and experts from the Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL) arrived at his residence in more than seven vehicles. A large crowd of media persons and people gathered there as soon as they arrived.
Video recording was done: The
investigating officer stayed in the flat for more than three hours. During this time, the investigation team first took pictures from outside the flat. It then took pictures of the bed room inside the flat and recorded the video.
A team arrives at the hospital:
Another official said that another CBI team visited Cooper Hospital on Saturday where the late actor’s post-mortem took place. The team met with Dean of Cooper Hospital. He said that the officials would also meet the doctors who did the post-mortem.
Bandra police station visit again:
Another CBI team visited Bandra police station where they met Mumbai Police officials investigating the death of the actor. The official said that the CBI team has visited Bandra police station for the second time in this case. The Supreme Court on Wednesday handed over the investigation into the alleged suicide case of Rajput to the CBI. After this, the CBI started investigating.
